Fire cider used: Herbs & Honey

A Gibson is a gin martini with a cocktail onion, and Herbs & Honey fire cider already has onion, horseradish and thyme in it. A small splash takes the place of the brine you'd use in a dirty martini. It comes out savory and dry with just a hint of honey.

Serves 1 | Prep 3 min

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
  • 1/4 ounce Fire Cider: Herbs & Honey, shaken well
  • Ice
  • 2 or 3 cocktail onions on a pick

Steps

  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice and add the gin, vermouth and fire cider.
  2. Stir for about 30 seconds, until the glass is very cold.
  3. Strain into a chilled martini glass and add the onions.

Tips

  • For a dirtier version, go up to 1/2 ounce of fire cider.
  • Keep your fire cider in the fridge after opening, and shake it every time you pour.
