Fire cider used: Heat & Honey

This is the easy one. Bourbon and ginger beer in a tall glass is already a good drink. A half ounce of our Heat & Honey fire cider gives it horseradish, garlic and cayenne heat, plus a little tang that cuts the sweetness of the ginger beer.

Serves 1 | Prep 2 min

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces bourbon (we recommend Tarnished Truth Bourbon)
  • 1/2 ounce Fire Cider: Heat & Honey, shaken well
  • 4 to 5 ounces chilled ginger beer
  • Ice
  • A lime wedge

Glass and garnish

Highball glass, lime wedge.

Steps

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice.
  2. Add the bourbon and fire cider and stir.
  3. Top with ginger beer and give it one gentle stir.
  4. Squeeze the lime wedge over the top and drop it in.

Tips

  • Heat & Honey has real kick. If you're not sure, start with 1/4 ounce.
  • Refrigerate fire cider after opening, and shake it every time you pour.
