Honey and Propolis Throat Spray from a Virginia Apiary

You may have typed honey throat spray. A lot of people do.

That search is honest. Honey is what most of us picture when we picture the hive.

We bottle two throat sprays at our production facility in Richmond, Virginia. Both labels say the same thing: with Propolis & Honey.

Propolis is the hero. Honey is the support. One spray cools. One spray warms. That is the split. Not the ingredients.

What you actually need

A scratchy day does not need a lecture. It needs a bottle you can find, and a person who will say what is in it.

A lot of sprays on the internet are hard to place. A bee on the label. A warehouse you will never see. No one to ask which bottle they reach for at home.

You already know how you want it to feel. Cool and clean, or warm and coating. We can help you pick.

Cooling or warming

The cooling throat spray is the crisp bottle. A cooling finish is normal. People drop it in a bag for travel and for dry days.

The warming throat spray is the coat-and-comfort bottle. A warming feel is normal. This is the one we keep on the kitchen shelf when the weather turns.

Same farm. Same honey house. Same two gifts from the hive: propolis first, honey and other botanicals with a targeted purpose. Two different jobs.

You do not need both on day one. Start with how you want it to feel.

Honey also lives in our jars, in elderberry syrup, and in the fire ciders. Those are food bottles. The sprays are 1 oz bottles for the throat.

A short plan

1. Decide cool or warm.
2. Open that throat spray page and put it in the cart. We ship it to your door, or you pick it up from us in either Richmond, Bremo Bluff or one of our amazing retail partners.
3. Receive it. Shake it. Spray two or three times toward the back of the throat, as needed, up to six times a day. Store it cool and dry, out of extra heat and light.

That is the plan.

This is hive-and-botanical care, not a medicine cabinet claim. Bee-derived ingredients can bother some people. We do not give these sprays to children under 5 unless a physician says to. If you are pregnant, nursing, or on medication, ask someone who knows your chart before you start.

From the hive, said plainly

Propolis is the resin bees gather from trees and buds. They use it to seal and tidy the hive. We collect it from our own boxes in Bremo Bluff and put it into both sprays. It is the hero of our tincture lineup too.

Honey is in both sprays as the support. We will not pretend it is not there. We will not make it the star of those bottles either.

You will not find a third spray on this site. You will not find us inventing extra ingredients to fill a search box.
