Our Lotion Trio: Nurture, Wilderness, and Tranquil
Share
People pick up our three lotion bottles, turn them over to read the backs, and then ask the same question.
Which one is mine?
It's a fair thing to ask. All three are botanically based, functional and it's quite possible you need more than one. Each one was made for a different part of the day with a different function in mind. Here's how I'd help you choose.

Nurture, for skin that wants to be left alone

Nurture Unscented Calendula Body Lotion is the one with no fragrance at all. It's calendula flower extract in a simple base of water, sweet almond oil, cocoa seed butter, jojoba, and vitamin E. When your skin is being picky, or you just don't want your lotion announcing itself across the room, this is the bottle I'd hand you first.
It's also the easy pick for a whole household. It's safe for topical use on children 6 months and older with an adult's supervision, so one bottle can sit on the bathroom shelf for everybody.
Wilderness, for when you're headed outside

Wilderness Insect Repellent Body Lotion does two jobs. It moisturizes like the other two, and it carries a blend of plant oils that provide for outdoor comfort against insects like ticks and mosquitoes. Those oils are lemongrass, rosemary, citronella, thyme, cedarwood, geranium, and peppermint, with calendula in the base as well.
Rub it in before you head out to weed the garden or walk a trail, and your lotion and a little help with the bugs happen in one step. It's safe for children running around playing outside from 6 months. If you're already lacing up your boots when you ask me which bottle, it's this one.
Tranquil, for the end of the day

Tranquil Zechstein Magnesium Body Lotion is our evening bottle. Magnesium chloride from the Zechstein seabed goes into a base of sweet almond oil, cocoa seed butter, jojoba, and vitamin E, along with a proprietary essential oil blend. The product page frames it for evening routines and moments of rest, and that's exactly where I'd put it: after a shower, once the dishes are done, when you want something that sinks in without feeling heavy.
It's safe for topical use on children 2 and older with an adult's supervision.
Picking one, or two
If you only have room for one, think about when you'd actually reach for it. Nurture is for mornings when your skin wants nothing extra, Wilderness goes in the bag on outdoor days, and Tranquil lives on the nightstand. Plenty of people end up keeping more than one. You don't have to buy them together, each one is its own formula for its own moment.
Open the page for the one that fits your day, pick glass or wheat-straw, and add it to your cart. You can order online and have it shipped, or choose farm pickup and we'll email or text you to set a time.
If you'd rather see the bottles in person, our farm store is at 3456 James Madison Hwy in Bremo Bluff. We're open Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Tuesday through Thursday by appointment. Weekends are private tours and appointments only. In Richmond, you'll find us at 9200 Stony Point Parkway, Ste 158A, Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM or by appointment. Check our hours and directions before you drive, or call (804) 380-5820.
